Who we are – About Prerana Montessori
‘Prerana’ is an inner urge which is present in every soul. It is a constant, continuous & never changing
force which is working at the development of human beings.
‘Prerana Montessori’ is an Institute initiated to support this natural force & ‘help the Children to help
themselves’. This institute with a noble vision of becoming a source for helping the ‘young’ human
beings to live for themselves was started by Dhanasu Educational Trust in 2001-2002 by the family of
Chitra and Anantha Padmanabha.
After working with young parents & Children since 1996, the couple realized the need for professional &
complete training of oneself to become worthy children. Having gone through the Indian Montessori
Training Courses, the couple decided to dedicate themselves to the cause of children in Montessori
Way.
‘Prerana’ is an offering to the children that follows a ‘pure’ Montessori way & has so far seen batches
of children graduating & moving on to most of the prestigious neighboring Institutes successfully. With a
vast experience of more than two decades of working with Children and driven by a strong passion
for Children, Prerana has won the hearts of Children & parents by offering the most scientific &
suitable environment.
‘Prerana’ along with other trained & dedicated personnel believes in healthily introducing basic Indian cultural
values. Offering Stories, Rhymes, Bhajans & Arts uniquely has ensured a healthy
& joyous contact, which remains a strong foundation for later years.
We know each Child wants to learn in their own way, at their own pace & of their own choice. Being
strong believers in offering freedom at this stage of life, the child here is helped to lead a life of his own.
We welcome all those who believe in the natural energy of the child to experience the grandeur of
